Meet The Staff

Lisa — My name is Lisa and I have lived on Long Island and worked with Protzel Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery since 2000. I am a Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Assistant, DANB Certified Assistant as well as a New York State registered and licensed assistant. My training includes anesthesia administration for general anesthesia and intravenous (IV) sedation. I have been in the surgical field for over 29 years and still enjoy working with and caring for patients. In addition to providing support for the doctors throughout the surgical process, I will be happy to help you with any administrative needs. I am here to assist you with insurance, billing or scheduling. I feel it is important to develop a positive relationship and maintain open communication with each and every patient, therefore, I will always be available to answer any questions or address any concerns which you may have.

Christine — My name is Christine and I have been working in the medical/dental field for over 18 years. I am trained in all phases of oral surgery and enjoy working in this field. I help the doctors in all preoperative, intra-operative and postoperative procedures. I have lived on Long Island for over 26 years and still love it here. I am married with four children.

Karen — Hi, my name is Karen and understand the fear of going to the dentist. That is why I take special care with every patient. I am involved with my children’s extra curricular activities as well as the local religious education school. I am a mom of  three beautiful children.

Kathy — My name is Kathy.  I love working in the oral surgery field.  I absolutely love taking care of our patients.  It fulfills me to see them leave with a smile on their face!  If you come in with a frown, I am known to do my best to turn that around.
